- 0.84 × 4 = 3.36

Proportional conversion is an estimate. Official evaluators (WES, ECE) and many colleges convert course by course, so their result may differ.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a weighted GPA to unweighted?
Recalculate without the Honors/AP bonus using the high school GPA calculator; a proportional conversion is only an approximation.
How do I convert a 10-point CGPA to 4.0?
A common estimate is CGPA ÷ 10 × 4, so an 8.5 is about 3.4. Some universities publish their own tables.
How do I convert a percentage to GPA?
Choose “Percentage” as the scale. 90–92% is an A− (3.7), 85% a B (3.0).
