Warm and clear
Springs combine a warm undertone with clear, fresh coloring. Think of the colors in a garden in April: coral, peach, golden yellow, leaf green and warm aqua. Dusty, grayed colors and very dark shades tend to dull a Spring's natural brightness.
The three Springs
Light Spring is the palest and most delicate, with peach, butter yellow and light aqua. It neighbors Light Summer, so it tolerates a little coolness.
True Spring is the warmest and most golden, with coral, kelly green and sunflower. It neighbors True Autumn.
Bright Spring is the most saturated: hot coral, bright turquoise and royal blue. It neighbors Bright Winter and can wear stronger contrast than the other two.
Not the same as "spring colors"
The spring colors page collects colors that evoke the season, including cool lilacs and icy blues. The Spring palettes here are personal-color palettes, built for a warm, clear complexion, so they leave out most of those cool shades.
Getting started
Try the seasonal color quiz, then open the matching palette. Wear the core colors near your face, use camel, cream or warm navy as neutrals instead of black, and pick gold or rose-gold jewelry. If you are unsure between two Springs, compare their best colors side by side in the color analysis tool.
