The shade between pink and orange
Peach is a light orange with a pink cast. Lighter peaches approach cream; deeper ones approach apricot and cantaloupe. The 2024 "Peach Fuzz" Color of the Year from Pantone brought it back into fashion, though peach has been a staple of interiors and cosmetics for decades.
Peach and skin
Peach sits close to many skin tones, which is why it appears so often in makeup, lingerie and portrait backgrounds. In seasonal color analysis, peach and apricot are signature colors for warm, light seasons such as Light Spring.

Peach backgrounds need dark text. None of these swatches gives white text even 3:1, so pair peach with charcoal or deep brown lettering. Peach also makes a gentle highlight color for notices and cards.
